Target Position Responsibilities

Performs the following:
Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, administration, and inside sales.

Develop forecasts and financial objectives of the branch and set priorities to drive the plans.

Interpret financial statements and hold accountability for profit margin at the branch level.

Meet predetermined goals and metrics.

Perform inventory planning and management while balancing branch level inventories with customer service levels and vendor deliveries.

Motivate the branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development, and motivation.

Drive continuous improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.

Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.

Adhere to high safety and ethical standards.

Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.

Stay attentive of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration.

Perform other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

7-10 years’ experience in managing a warehouse/distribution center and/or inside sales

Proven branch management experience in a wholesale, distribution environment servicing PVF, Oil and Gas or General Industry

Experience managing a business unit that is a customer project driven environment.

Knowledge of industrial products and processes that are relevant to customers in the region

Excellent organizational skills

Results driven and customer focused

Strong Microsoft Office skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in budgeting, safety compliance, and auditing controls within a warehouse setting

College Degree preferred
